    Advice on any Building Problems

    Solving construction related problems, by providing professional advice aimed to find practical and economical solutions to building and construction problems; Advising on quality of workmanship and materials.

    Determine and report addressing your concerns, and then manage the necessary remedial works or actions to be taken on your behalf delivering the outcome to fulfill your personal and business requirements.

    Project Coordination

    1. Ensuring the specifications are in compliance with the Codes and Australian Standards and that they are strictly followed.
    2. Facilitating the smooth running of the project and the control of costs.
    3. Minimising costly variations and extras.
    4. Suggesting possible areas for saving or ways of obtaining more competitive pricing.
    5. Ensuring high standards in workmanship and materials.
    6. Carrying out periodic site inspections and reporting on progress of works.
    7. Checking and approving progress claims for payment.
    8. Ensuring progress payments are in accordance with the percentage of work carried out to date.
    9. Negotiating with contractors, builders, proprietors, and local authorities, if required.
    10. Conducting mediation processes should it be needed to minimise future disputes and a costly litigation process.
    11. Ensuring all works are carried out by licenced personnel, supervised and certified by qualified personnel.
    12. To ensure that prior to any work commencement all insurance certificates have been supplied.

    Supervision of Building Works

    Aimed to take the worry out of construction, by providing peace of mind in knowing that the project is being looked after and that there is someone there to protect your interests and keep a close track of your project on your behalf, while at the same time keeping you completely up to date with construction progress.

    As we are not doing the construction work ourselves, we do not have an interest in cutting costs at the expense of quality of materials and workmanship of the builder or contractor. As the fees therefore are not based on a percentage of the value of the building, we do not have any interest in keeping building costs high.

    Building Code of Australia consulting

    Assistance by working with your design team, to review design documentation for its compliance with the ‘deemed to satisfying’ provisions of the BCA.

    Appraisal of existing buildings

    The inspection of your existing building to a certain compliance with the building regulations at the time of construction, as well as the current Building code of Australia (BCA).

    Fire Safety audits

    Assisting building or strata owners by carrying out a BCA Audit of their building, even as a due diligence project or where the local Council has served in order to engage a suitably qualified person to inspect the building and prepare a fire safety upgrade strategy.

    Annual Fire Safety statements

    Assisting the building or strata owners with their statutory obligation to submit an Annual Fire Safety Statement to their local council and NSWFB, on each anniversary date that the fire statement is due.
