Courses Introduction
The Building Centre markets a range of quality courses and training programs conducted by others. Our aim is to help you learn and understand how to create, enhance, improve or better use any space or opportunity that you may have. That space may be large, such as a property development, a house or a building or small such as a bathroom, study or kitchen. Therefore, we called our courses programme - CreatAspace.
People who enrol in courses we market usually are home owners, industry practitioners such as architects, building designers, interior designers, builders and tradesmen. For the latter group, some of the courses we will market in the near future will carry with them CPD points.
In the months ahead additional courses, conferences, training and workshops will be added to provide you with access to a wealth of general and specialised knowledge to help you with your needs, interests or professional development..

Our Courses, a brief history
Since the 1970s, The Building Centre has been providing regular seminars and workshops based on needs or demands to assist those embarking on home building or renovation projects.
Such subjects have included "hands-on" Basic Carpentry, Basic Bricklaying, Basic Home Repairs, Tiling, Paving, Painting and Plastering.
The Building Centre has also offered insightful courses such as Interior Design, Feng Shui, Interiors and Finishes, Decorative Styles, The Psychology of Colour and Lighting Design, as well as Designing a Bathroom and Designing a Kitchen.
Introduced in 2000, CreataSpace represented a new generation of The Building Centre's educational program and included Owner Builder and Sustainable Building courses.
The core value of The Building Centre's education program is to provide its participants with a comprehensive range of courses, that provide fundamental knowledge on how to design and adapt domestic as well as non-residential spaces to provide healthy, sustainable, environmentally friendly, comfortable, affordable and stylish living or working environment.
The role of The Building Centre is to provide the public and industry practitioners with inspirational and knowledgeable tools, as well as to provide invaluable insights to successful home and non-residential building projects or associated aspects.
